You can be confident knowing your products will stand up against corrosion and last for years by testing them with a Presto salt spray chamber. To conduct the testing of your products in this testing chamber, we suggest you to go follow the steps mentioned below:

  • You can easily operate this testing instrument by plugging it in the main socket and ensure all safety notices will have been maintained adhered to the standards.
  • After that, you need to fill the air saturator with a DM solution. For this, you need to connect the M8-PU pipe with an air saturator DM water inlet port. You should examine the air saturator side by side.
  • You must fill the DM water until it reaches the maximum level. You must also prepare the salt solution to fill the reservoir tank. You must make sure that the pH of the solution should be in the range of 6.5 to 7.2. Users can also fill the reservoir tank using an external solution tank of a minimum of 8 Feet height (Under Customer’s Scope). For this, connect the M8 PU Pipe with the Salt Solution Inlet Port and fill the salt solution.
  • After following the above-mentioned steps, you need to prepare the test specimen by cleaning it with a nitric acid solution, depending on your product. Always remember that the specimens that are coated with paints or non-metallic sheets should not be cleaned prior to the test.
  • Once the specimen will be prepared accurately, then you can place the samples between 15 and 30 degrees from the vertical and preferably parallel to the main direction of horizontal flow of fog through the chamber. Make sure that the samples are placed in such a manner that they do not contact each other or any other metallic material.
  •  After placing the sample accurately in the testing chamber, you can commence the test.

In this way, you can easily conduct the corrosion test, with the help of the Presto salt spray chamber. With this chamber, you can simulate salt spray and other corrosive atmospheres for testing purposes. You’ll be able to see exactly what happens when your products are exposed over long periods of time without having any negative effects on them whatsoever. This means less wasted money and more satisfied customers.

MODEL:- SSC – Win series

If you are looking for a way to test how well your products will hold up against corrosion, then look no further. The Salt Spray Chamber is an effective tool that simulates real-life conditions and lets you see how well your product holds up. It’s easy to use and provides complete flexibility in the simulation of weathering conditions. You don’t have time to waste on inferior products that won’t stand the test of time or nature. Don’t risk having one of your items fail when it could be prevented with our Salt Spray Chamber. Presto is a leading supplier of Salt Spray Chamber and our testing instruments are designed to expose a coated object to a highly corrosive environment. We make use of various industry standards to check the corrosion resistance of coated metal parts made from steel, brass, and other metals.

When you conduct the salt spray test with the help of Presto Salt Spray Chamber - Model Win Series 250W testing instrument, then you can hang the metal object from the rod and a salt-laden fog or spray is introduced by a nozzle inside the chamber. This leads to an accelerated rate of corrosion in objects whose coating is ineffectual or compromised. Testing time depends on the type of coating on the object and provides data on wear and durability. Testing time may be only a few minutes or can be increased to many days.

Our amazing testing instrument is used in various industries like aerospace, automotive, and many others. Coatings that are often tested in the salt spray chamber include phosphate surfaces, zinc, and zinc alloy plating, electroplating with chromium, copper, and tin, organic coatings, and certainly painted coatings.

The salt spray chamber Model Win Series 250 W is time-tested, and it provides complete flexibility in the simulation of real-life weathering conditions. Don’t let your customers down by having rusty products that don’t hold up over time. Get a Salt Spray Chamber today so you can ensure that your components are rust-proof enough to stand up against corrosion from saltwater or other harsh elements. With just one purchase, you can test all of your components under different weather conditions without ever leaving the lab. This product will make sure that every single component is able to withstand corrosion before being shipped out to customers. If you’re tired of wasting time and money on rust-proof products that fail, then it’s time to invest in a Salt Spray Chamber from our company today. We guarantee this product will meet your expectations.

The main purpose of this testing instrument is to ensure that your products will remain rust-free for a longer time. The corrosion resistance provided by such coatings is determined by subjecting either the coated component or a test panel coated under identical conditions to an accelerated corrosion test. For this purpose, the components or the panels are kept in an enclosed chamber having a specified corrosive atmosphere is produced by creating a fine mist of the specified test solution through an atomizer. The Salt Spray Chamber is fabricated from a fiber-reinforced sheet and has an acrylic fitting lid. A fine mist of salt solution is produced by atomizing the salt solution kept in the Reservoir of the chamber with the help of a spray nozzle/atomizer.
