  • First of all, take a square piece of painted sheet that you want to test.
  • After that, raise the weight to the desired height in 1 meter graduated guide tube as per the requirement of the test and specifications of the sample.
  • Now lock the pin using the knob provided on the weight uplifting holder.
  • Pull down the Punch Uplifting Knob to uplift the punch in order to clamp the sample.
  • After adjusting the height and uplifting the punch, place the specimen over a hole of 0.640 in. (16.3 mm) diameter in a die mounted in the anvil.
  • Now, pull up the Punch Uplifting Knob to place the punch over the sample and to clamp the sample firmly.
  • Now unlock the pin using the knob provided on the weight uplifting holder to release the weight on the punch. (This weight will collide on the punch and indirectly impact the sample).
  • Again pull down the Punch Uplifting Knob to uplift the punch in order to unclamp the sample.
