Gelbo Flex Tester

The Gelbo Flex Tester by Presto has been technically designed to determine the flex resistance of flexible barrier materials. The test is performed by applying repetitive strain to check the resistance of the material. The pin hole formation is the criteria for failure in integrity of one or more plies of a multi-ply structure. Through this test, the barrier properties such as gas or moisture in the flexible material can be evaluated. The flexible motion consists of twisting that is followed by compression or horizontal motion.
