Presto offers the Dart Impact Tester in Tanzania to test the quality and strength of the packaging items such as plastic films. There are two sizes available for the testing darts to observe the test methods as per the standards. The number of falls made by the darts is displayed on the digital counter, which provides a precise result. Presto supplies the instrument with a calibration certificate and a user guide.  All the international quality testing standards are considered during the manufacturing of the tool.



    • The two-piece clamping device has an inner diameter of 127 mm.
    • The minimum size of the test specimen is 240 mm width.
    • A string electromagnetic mechanism is used for holding the darts.
    • The dart of 38 mm for test Method A and dart of 50 mm for test Method B.
    • A maximum height of 1524 mm is required for the dropping of the darts.
    • A digital counter counts the number of falls caused by the darts.
    • The dimension of the device is 50 cm X 35 cm X 215 cm.
    • The weight is 38 kilograms (gross weight after packaging is 68 kilograms).
    • The tool requires a power supply of 220 volts single phase 50 Hz AC.
