Standard Method to determine Color Fastness of Textile Materials to artificial light (Xenon Lamp)
The standard prescribes methods to determine the color fastness of textile materials of all kinds and in all forms to the action of artificial light source namely, xenon arc lamp. A specimen of the textile material is exposed under prescribed conditions along with 8 dyed wool standard patterns to the light from a xenon arc. The fastness is assessed by comparing the change in color of the specimen with that of the standard patterns.
