  • To conduct the test successfully, you can start the machine by plugging the mains socket of the machine into a 3 pin 15 amp socket. Ensure all operational safety notices and pre-requisites have adhered to the standards.
  • Connect the M8- PU Pipe within the Air Saturator DM Water Inlet Port. Now fill the air saturator with DM Water. For this, you need to perform certain settings from HMI Interface.
  • Preparation of Salt Solution to Fill Reservoir Tank. Dissolve 5±1% parts by weight of sodium chloride in 95% parts of distilled water or water containing not more than 200ppm of total solids. You can also fill the reservoir tank using an external solution tank of minimum height (Under Customer’s Scope). For this, connect the M8 PU Pipe with the Salt Solution Inlet Port and fill the salt solution.
  • Place the specimen between 15 and 30 degrees from the vertical and preferably parallel to the main direction of horizontal flow of fog through the chamber. Make sure that the samples are placed in such a manner that they do not contact each other or any other metallic material.
  • Now set the temperature or humidity from the HMI Interface. The specimen placed inside the chamber will be subjected to the salt environment, humidity, or different temperatures to test the resistance of the metal to corrosion.
  • When you run the test, then you can easily measure the extent of corrosion on the dry test sample or examine any kind of failure as per the specifications.
