Tensile tests measure the force required to break a plastic sample specimen and the extent to which the specimen stretches or elongates to that breaking point. The results of these tests are used to determine the material's properties, such as its tensile strength, yield strength, and Young's modulus. It has been designed as per industrial standards that include ASTM D412, ASTM D429-73, ASTM D624, ATM D638-01, ASTM D76, IS 13360-5-7, and IS 3400(Part 1-1987). This will ensure the accurate quality of test results every time.

It has highly accurate micro-controller-based control systems with integrated software to test different properties of the materials with ease.

Users can conduct more than 37 types of tests on the materials that include tensile strength at break load, percentage elongation, yield strength, elongation achieved, and many more. It comes with windows based tensile software program that can especially be designed to perform these tests and generate different test reports for compression test readings.

This highly advanced lab testing instrument will help the users in generating graphical data with test data output through inbuilt software. The machine also has a tensile card – 1927 or 945a, 16-bit ADC & DAC. It is mandatory for the user to install a Computer and Printer (The Pentium or Higher version is not part of the offer).

The equipment has been fitted with an Over Load / Travel Safety device which has an Auto stop facility controlled through special software In-built Advanced Microcontroller systems have also been incorporated to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.
