Polariscope DX
The PRESTO polariscope strain viewer is used for checking defects in transparent performs. This may also be used for checking the defects in transparent PET bottles as a quantitative measure when setting quality standards.
The residual stresses are analysed in the sharples type strain viewer and the Defects in PET Preforms are easily identifiable. The Crystallinity is readily identified. Not only can the molecular bifringent flow lines (fringes) be seen in colour but the black isoclinic lines are visible when the preform axis are parallel to the polarizing axis of the viewer.

The Polariscope Strain Viewer is simple and easy to use, with two sources of high intensity lights available one with bright white illumination
and with monochromatic light for defects which are unnoticed by the white light.
The viewing area is clear and open from three sides to enable easy placement of samples and handling. The optical system ensures visual appeal with high quality optics for sharp and clear viewing.
