Peel/Seal/Bond Strength Tester

Presto’s Peel Adhesion/Bond/Seal tester is used to calculate the permanence of the adhesion ability of self adhesive force sensitive products. The adhesion strength of a product is defined as the pressure required for separating a coated substance, which has been applied to normal test plate under specified circumstances, from another plate placed at a specified angle with predetermined velocity. The product is designed and manufactured as per international standards.

The Peel strength tester is ideal for measuring tear, peel and other frictional properties of adhesives, laminates, glues, fabrics, packaging, coatings, tapes, labels, and other products components and materials. With the seal/bond strength testing instrument, one can accurately measure the average peel strength load over a specific distance per unit width of adhesive. The machine provides a constant rate of extension, constant rate f load control which allows you to perform numerous peel and seal tests with a single machine.

Presto offers two models of Peel Strength Tester namely Digital Model and Computerized cum Digital Model.

The Peel strength tester is equipped with two grips. To perform the test procedure, a sample with a gum coated material is placed between the grips under specified test conditions. The upper grip of the machine is kept fixed while the lower grip move in  a downward direction to check the adhesion strength of the coated substance with specified speed.

Presto Adhesion Strength Tester helps to  peel a laminated material at an angle of 180 Degree with a separation rate of 300 mm/minute with an accuracy of +/- 2%.

• The Digital cum computerized model has dual display. Along with the digital indicator, it is duly attached to a computer system to view the reports in graphical format.
• Graph test report can be viewed in the Force vs. Time format.
• Reports can be saved for future access to the desktop.
• 10 sample reports can be seen simultaneously on a single report.
• Data can be represented in chart form using excel spreadsheet.
• Company details like address and logo can also be placed in the Test Report.
• Report clearly describes product name, shape, batch, operator, Date & Time, standard and remarks.
• Pass/fail criteria can be programmed.
